Hoobuy QC: Check Print Alignment and Symmetry in Photos
A print can look crooked because the item is folded, stretched or photographed at an angle. Start with a level view and stable reference points before deciding that placement is wrong.

Check the photograph before judging the product
Look for rotated camera framing, a raised shoulder, uneven sleeves and folds through the print. Those features can move the apparent centre without changing the actual placement. Compare the complete silhouette instead of judging a tight crop in isolation.
If the view is unsuitable, request a straight-on image of the item laid flat with the full outline visible. Keep the fabric relaxed. Pulling one side to make the item look neat can introduce a different distortion.
Choose repeatable reference points
For a front print, compare its centre with the garment's structural centre using the neckline, central closure or matching side seams where appropriate. Check the same landmarks in the seller's listing. Some designs are intentionally offset or asymmetric.
Do not assume that the centre of the photograph is the centre of the garment. For paired items, place them in comparable positions and compare corresponding edges, panels and labels. A different camera angle can make one item appear wider or longer.
Measure only what the image supports
If placement matters, request a ruler between explicitly named points, such as a seam and the edge of a print. The ruler's zero, endpoint and measured surface should be visible. A ruler lying above a folded surface does not provide a reliable flat measurement.
Avoid inventing a millimetre tolerance that the seller never specified. Compare with the actual listing, selected variant and any stated measurements. An image without a trustworthy scale can support a visual observation but not an exact dimensional claim.
Write a factual concern with a useful image
Describe the visible relationship: “In the flat view, the print centre appears left of the neckline centre.” Attach the whole-item view and a relevant detail, then ask for a confirming angle or measurement. This is more actionable than describing the entire item as bad.
Keep the listing screenshot and order variant alongside the warehouse image. If the design is meant to be asymmetric, document that before treating it as a defect. Photos alone do not authenticate a product or prove production specifications that are not documented.
Choose the next action from the evidence
If the new view resolves the apparent offset, record why and continue checking the rest of the item. If a clear mismatch remains, review the current return or exchange options before shipping. If evidence is still weak, decide whether one specific additional view would help.
